Who are we?

More than just a studio, Nowhere Tattooing is a space where craft, intention, and care come together. Founded by artist and tattooist Thomas Hooper, who brings over 25 years of experience in both tattooing, photography and fine art. Nowhere was created to make tattooing feel both accessible and sacred.

We believe some tattoos are far more than designs in the skin, they are personal expressions of identity, memory, transformation, and storytelling. From first tattoos to long-term projects, we aim to hold space for each client with care, creativity, and respect.

Nowhere was designed as a calm, focused environment where the art of tattooing can thrive as a mindful and intentional practice, shared between artist and client.

Our team of skilled artists has been handpicked for their exceptional talent, dedication, and individual artistic voice. Together, we offer a diverse range of styles, including intricate blackwork, Japanese, ornamental, realism, illustrative black and grey, comic book and pop art, neo-traditional, and machine free (hand-poked) tattooing. Each artist at Nowhere brings their own perspective and craft, working closely with clients to bring unique visions to life through thoughtful collaboration and creative integrity.

Beyond our resident team, we welcome guest tattooers, musicians and artists both international and from across the UK to bring new energy and inspiration into our space; Keeping us pushing forward and making sure that not only are you benefitting from our extensive knowledge of what came before, but ensuring we are always reaching forward for what’s next.
