Originally from Sendai, Japan, Mie has been tattooing for 18 years. She began her career at the renowned The Family Business Tattoo in London, before continuing to develop her craft at Higgins & Co. and 1770 Tattoo, where she refined her distinctive style.
Mie’s work is deeply influenced by traditional Japanese tattooing, ukiyo-e Japanese prints, and the subtle beauty of colour and form found within these traditions. Her tattoos often balance bold, flowing backgrounds with intricate, refined details, creating a harmony between strength and delicacy.
